'The Life' explores the underbelly of street life in 1980s New York; a time when crime was rife and the Aids epidemic was about to hit the city. In this musical, Queen, Sonja and Mary – three street workers use what they’ve got, to make ends meet against the odds. The women form strong bonds of friendship and finally take back control of their lives.
