The concept of my production is instability. The gradual build-up of lies throughout the play contribute to the character’s growing instability, a reflection of their unstable social status. Yet, the underlying humour and satire in the instability can be enjoyed by the audience. The costume further reinforces instability as a common concern of the time by incorporating trendy fabric (from 2017) with period garments throughout the characters’ journey.
